Belvedere Hotel and Golf

We’ve just had our first visit to Bridlington, staying for three nights. Vicky was so kind and attentive throughout. The hotel was clean and quiet, and we really enjoyed the breakfast and lunches. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed here as a base while playing a few golf courses in the area. The on-site course was in great condition, and the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly too, and it was great value for money. Highly recommend 😃.

The course was a pleasure to play. The greens were beautiful, and the tees were clearly laid out and in good condition, with pitch marks sanded. Most tees were easy to find, though a couple took a little looking around. After the dry weather the ball ran very well, and our 1pm start was relaxed, with no pressure from groups ahead or behind. We loved the course and hotel and will be back next year. We stayed two nights for the three-day golf passport. The team arranged the golf venues with one phone call, which made things easy. The hotel was to a high standard, with comfortable rooms and quality furnishings. My only small gripes were the lack of bathroom shelf space and no fridge for drinks to take onto the course. There were cold drinks in a vending machine, though. Reception staff generally finished at 5 or 6pm, so it’s best to sort out any issues before then. Breakfast was excellent. We were a bit rushed before one tee time, but the lad serving helped us get away promptly, many thanks to him. We hadn’t booked meals ahead, but had no trouble ordering in the restaurant, where breakfast is served too. The food was excellent and cheaper than anywhere in town. I ordered a gammon steak that was huge, perfectly cooked, and more than I could finish. The restaurant stopped serving at 6pm on Monday, but was still serving at 7.30 on Tuesday.

The accessible toilet and shower facilities were excellent, but the bed was too high. I’d expected the breakfast to meet the standard of a golf club hotel, and it fell short.
