Maryland Bed and Breakfast

The whole family enjoyed our stay, including the children aged 13, 9 and 4. Paul and Lynn were so hospitable and accommodating, and made us feel welcome in Bridlington. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the towels were soft and luxurious. Breakfast was tasty and filling for everyone, a great start to the day. Thanks so much. Lynne and Paul were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We were glad we picked Maryland b & b, and would recommend it to anyone coming to Bridlington. Breakfast was a hearty start to the day, with porridge, yogurt and a full English, more than enough to leave us stuffed.

The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we slept well thanks to the soundproofed windows even though the guest house is on a busy street with roadside parking. They provide a parking pass. It’s central but quiet, around a five-minute walk to the shops. The four-poster room was a good size, with a large bathroom and bath. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely cooked with plenty of choice.

We paid £75 a night for three nights, but were told on arrival that breakfast wasn’t provided. That seems odd for a place called Maryland B&B. We could see boxes of breakfast, and all we needed was two chairs and some milk. It was crazy. The website says £160 a night, so we overpaid by £45 and also missed out on £15 a day for breakfast. I don’t expect a refund. Don’t go if you want to feel ripped off and disappointed.
