I loved our week here on a family holiday. It’s only a few minutes from the beach and some shops. The pipes made loud noises whenever anyone used a sink, shower or toilet, and everyone in my family found the pillows much too soft, which made it hard to sleep each morning. Even with those issues, it’s a fantastic place.

You notice the maintenance problems most when there’s a group staying: the loose, creaky floorboards, pipes banging after a toilet flush and doors that make a racket. The house is comfortable enough, and the beach is just moments away, but it feels dated and needs some of those issues put right.

Just right for a good holiday with the whole family.

The place is laid out nicely, and the location is good too.

There’s a lot of work needed before this place reaches an acceptable standard.
