It wasn't good value for money. The room was fine, but the entrance was very dirty and smelly. I had ordered breakfast, then changed my mind when I saw the dining area. It was really messy, with dirty cloths and spray bottles around the tables, and the bar area was especially disgusting.

We booked three nights and struggled to manage. The smell when you walked into reception was vile, and the large man who greeted us, wearing what I think was a black T-shirt, was absolutely filthy. The only positive I can mention is that the room was warm. That's really it.

A lovely place to stay, with a great location and a short walk into bird. I felt relaxed there, and the breakfast and facilities were good. Great value for money too. I've stayed several times and will keep coming back.

We only booked two nights, and I was glad to leave. The dining room was in a disgraceful state, and the breakfast was awful: the proprietor came downstairs at 8:50 to start cooking, though breakfast was meant to run from 8:30 to 9:30. He looked half asleep, with stains all over his T-shirt, and when the food finally arrived the sausage was still raw and the eggs were runny. The place was cluttered from the moment we walked into what I thought was reception. Our room was so cramped that getting into the bathroom was awkward because the door wouldn't open fully against the wall. It was dirty, and I wouldn't stay here again. We skipped breakfast on the second morning and couldn't wait to get out.
