The Kilburn Guest House

Jan and Billy were so welcoming. I was setting off early and would miss breakfast, so Jan kindly packed me ham and egg sandwiches, crisps, a drink and apple pie to take to work. The room was very clean, with a TV, kettle, biscuits and milk. A bathrobe, towels, shampoo and conditioner were provided too. My bathroom was separate, along the hallway, and had its own key. Thanks so much, Jan & Billy. 10/10, I’d recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

We were able to invite two friends to have dinner with us at The Kilburn, and they were made just as welcome as we were. Jan and Billy really make you feel at home, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is great, with a lovely cooked breakfast each morning, and we had an evening meal there one night too. The rooms are spotless and come with towels, hair dryers, shower caps, and even needle and thread. It’s our second stay at this little gem, and you couldn’t ask for a better guesthouse.

Our booked resort cancelled at the eleventh hour, but Billy and Jan found our family somewhere to stay straight away. The Kilburn is on a quiet road, about a five-minute walk from the seafront. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all the mod cons, including free WIFI. Billy and Jan were endlessly helpful. Their hearty breakfast is a proper traditional FULL English, with cereal, toast or fruit as well for anyone wanting something lighter. Excellent value for money. It was our first stay, but certainly won’t be the last. Cheers, Billy and Jan.

We had a lovely couple of days at the Kilburn and will definitely stay again. Billy and his wife made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was modern, spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was beautiful. There’s private parking on site, with CCTV to keep an eye on your car, and the seafront is only a five-minute walk away.
