Badgers

The location and view were lovely, and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of seating and space. But the driveway entrance was extremely narrow to negotiate, and there were no keys when we arrived. I had to call the office, and they brought them out because the cleaner had forgotten to leave them. On the first day, neither the downstairs bath nor shower drained, so maintenance had to come and clear them. The king sized duvet covers each had two single duvets inside, and there was no fire guard for the log burner. We were apparently only allowed one stair gate, so we had to block the top of the stairs with chairs to stop our toddler falling down. Cleaning lacked attention to detail. I had to hoover up dead flies, hair and fluff downstairs, where I also found a head band and hair bobble on the floor. The wifi was atrocious, and the worn paintwork badly needs an overhaul. Staff at Lyme Bay Holiday's were so rude on the phone. Their customer service skills were sorely lacking, and the way they spoke to me on several occasions was just vile.
