The hostess was so welcoming that I felt comfortable asking for any help I needed. My room at Heatherbell was warm and cozy, and West Bay is a beautiful seaside area. Everything was clean and sparkly, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio. I woke to the sound of seagulls, and the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows that made it extra snuggly. The price seemed very reasonable, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

Carol, the owner, did everything she could to make me feel welcome and have a good time. I stayed for three nights in August 2023, and had a wonderful visit. My room at Heatherbell Cottage was spacious and comfortable. It’s on a quiet dead-end road, with enough parking spaces, and the beautiful seafront is a three-minute walk away. It was a great stay, and I can clearly recommend it. I couldn’t give it less than five stars.

Carol is always cheerful and happy to help, and the place has excellent facilities, a nice room, and plenty of on-site parking. My wife and I have stayed three times and will come again. The b&b is very close to the beach and all amenities, making it a perfect place to stay when visiting West Bay. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Carol is a generous, great host, and the breakfast is yummy. Our bright, clean, fun room had a small fridge stocked with milk and juice, and the patio furniture gave us extra space. West Bay is perfectly placed for the cliff path walks, just a couple of minutes away. If you’re up for a longer walk, Bridport is a pretty two-mile route through fields and alongside streams, cutting through the Haven camp behind. It’s also a great base for the SW Coastal Path if you’re more hardier. I look forward to returning.

Carol was cheerful and couldn’t do enough to help. The rooms were very clean, and the beach is only two minutes away. What a really nice place to stay if you’re taking a break in lovely West Bay Bridport. I’d definitely recommend Heatherbell cottage.
