The rural setting is lovely, and Benji the dog is a treat. We spent a week at Holywell House and had a really nice stay. The house and garden are beautiful, and our double room was very comfortable. Ray and Angie were friendly, welcoming hosts. They met us at the gate when we arrived and offered tea with homemade cake. Breakfast was very good, and my husband especially enjoyed Ray’s full English.

We’ll definitely come back when we visit family and friends. The location is superb, quiet and set well back from the road. Our room was spacious and really comfortable. Angie and Ray were excellent hosts and made a great breakfast.

Ray, Angie and Benji make you feel so welcome. The rooms are nicely presented, and the house sits in beautiful gardens. Breakfast is cooked fresh, just what you want from a B&B. We arrived as guests and left as friends. We’ll definitely return.

The garden is beautiful for sitting outside, and there’s plenty of secure parking. Ray’s breakfasts were cooked perfectly with high quality ingredients. Angie, Ray and Benji are warm, welcoming hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed. A little bit of paradise whether you have a four-legged friend or not.

We felt at home straight away and enjoyed our visit immensely. The room was spacious and comfortable, and a sumptuous breakfast made a lovely overnight stay even better. Ray and Angie gave us a warm welcome and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We could walk our dog in the garden, and they told us about easy access to countryside footpaths, though we didn’t have time to explore them. We’d been to Charmouth beach before arriving at Holywell House, then stopped at the Cerne Abbas Giant viewpoint and West Bay beach and harbour on our way home. We’ll be back for more.
