Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill-Dudley

Beth, Bev, Holly and Emily were especially helpful with my dietary needs at breakfast, which had plenty of choice. We found the atmosphere warm and comfortable, and the staff throughout our stay were friendly and professional. The clean, comfortable room had everything we needed to feel at home. It's also well placed for Merry hill and Dudley zoo and castle.

The restaurant was packed on Saturday 28th February, but the two lads behind the bar kept everything moving. I think they were the 2 toms, Tom S and Tom B. They were quick with the drinks, clearing tables and finding other things to do. Really hard workers with a great work ethic. Amazing job, well done!

The fire alarm went off on our first night and everyone had to evacuate, but the wardens and staff handled it quickly and professionally. Vikki and her team also made our time using Faradays relaxing and enjoyable. We had a warm, informative welcome at reception, and the room was good value, though we both thought it could use a facelift. The location worked perfectly for our visit to the Black Country Living Museum for my wife's 70th birthday.

The spa and swimming were amazing, and I came away feeling really relaxed. We stayed one night as a Valentine's treat for my partner and son. As someone who works in a hotel, I know what to look for, and I couldn't fault the room or its cleanliness. The reception area is beautiful, the staff were kind and welcoming, and breakfast at Faraday restaurant was a great buffet. Thanks so much for having us, five stars all the way!
