The Hotel Chester

We stayed in the Polo room for a night, and it was lovely, nicely decorated and roomy enough for two. There’s a microwave and toaster if you want to do a little self-catering, plus a minibar with drinks and snacks at surprisingly reasonable prices. The lobby smells amazing, and the hotel itself is gorgeous, especially with its themed rooms. Staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. It’s very central in Chester, close to shops and restaurants. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but we had no problem finding somewhere to eat nearby. We’ll definitely come back, and I want to try more of the different rooms.

Lauren was especially lovely, friendly and professional, and the rest of the staff were wonderful too. I was impressed by how spotless the room was and by the beautiful décor and attention to detail. The Hotel Chester is also in a handy spot for getting around. P.S. I loved the fresh, pleasant scent throughout the hotel. ❤️

The rooms are a lovely size and the service was good, but be prepared for noise at night. Several bars, restaurants and clubs are close by. We could hear very loud house and trance music from around 9.00 until about 1.30, as if it were playing next door. There was plenty of noise from people outside as well.

Lauren was so friendly and helpful, and even found us a room though we arrived early. Everything was spotless. I liked the minibar prices, and they’d left fresh milk, lots of tea and coffee options, and a jar of sweets. The location is great and, for the price, this place is amazing. We’ll definitely stay here whenever we’re in Chester. We wished we could have stayed longer this time, but we’ll do that on our next visit.
