Talisha kindly helped plate a carvery for my dad, who has to walk with sticks. Emma, Lilly and the rest of the team made the evening really enjoyable. It's a friendly, family-oriented pub with tasty food and attentive staff. I'd happily recommend it.

It was extremely busy when we went for breakfast today, but the buffet was still plentiful and really tasty. Sarah was running the place on her own and was rushing around everywhere, yet nothing was too much trouble. Great service, food and value. Thanks 😊

The homemade Yorkshire pudding was amazing, and the puddings were very nice too. We had the standard carvery, which was fresh and plentiful, and the price was great. The staff were pleasant and professional. Thanks to Lily for being so helpful, and to the young girl who showed us to our table. It was my first time at the Wellington, but I wasn't disappointed and will be back soon.

The price is great, especially with unlimited drinks included. The buffet food is full of flavour and cooked well, and the staff are always pleasant and check on you while you eat. It's a great breakfast, and I don't think you'll find a better place to eat around here.

The carvery was lovely and the puddings were tasty, but I won't be coming back because getting into this pub in a wheelchair was such a difficult and unsafe experience. With the front door gone, you have to enter from the car park, which is awful. There's a gate instead of a proper ramp down to the tables, then a tiny, very steep ramp that's really hard to push a manual wheelchair up. It doesn't seem legal or up to standard, and I doubt an electric wheelchair could manage it. Inside, another ramp had been put by the fire exit and was just balancing there. It didn't feel safe, and nobody helped us. The barmaid watched even though it was obvious we were struggling. Service was poor too, and they seemed short-staffed. We'd been left waiting long enough that a man who worked there but was off that day came to help us. The food was good, but the way into the building was the most ridiculous setup I've encountered. It needs a proper ramp down all the steps or maybe a front door, instead of a dangerous makeshift one.
