We held our wedding there. It's a beautiful place, professionally run by the management and staff, with excellent food and beautiful rooms.

We've stayed on Valentine's Day and a few other times, and each visit has been stunning, immaculate and cosy. The hosts are lovely, and this place feels like a little gem tucked away. I'd highly recommend staying and eating at the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

After visiting the Holiday Inn leisure club, I popped into Blackhorse inn for a quick drink on the way home. One pint of Landlord, a medium red wine and a glass of soda water came to £14.50. It's a lovely pub, but the same round at Black Bull in Liversedge was £9.25, so next time we'll drive past and carry on to the Liversedge Black Bull.

We went for lunch with friends for the first time today. Some parts were good and the service was acceptable, but it took ages to be served even though there were hardly any diners when we ordered. My roast beef was really dry and tough, and hard to cut. The Yorkshire pudding was just as bad, like it could've bounced off a wall! The sticky toffee pudding was nice, though it needed more sauce. The latte was the worst I've tasted, weak and watery with almost no froth. It was disappointing, especially as the friend who booked had been before and recommended it.

Our guests are still talking about the venue and how smoothly the day went. The grounds are gorgeous, the atmosphere warm and elegant, and the whole place felt right when we first visited. We had the wedding we dreamed of at the Black Horse Inn. Lydia, our wedding planner, made a huge difference. She was organized, calm, responsive, and truly invested in making the day perfect. She took care of every detail and her experience and passion really showed. Everything ran so smoothly that we could relax and enjoy every moment. Thank you to Lydia and the entire team at the Black Horse Inn for making our wedding unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and highly recommend it.
