Andorra Guest Accommodation

The staff made our stay easier in a couple of thoughtful ways. They accommodated separate check-ins for me and my friend because we arrived at different times, and housekeeping made sure our room was clean and tidy for our return after my friend became unwell. The service was much appreciated. We had booked a twin room and found a double and a single bed instead, which worked for us but is worth knowing. The beds were comfortable, and we felt the price was fair. The decor is dated, the floor was very uneven, and there is no elevator, so it may not suit guests with accessibility needs. The room was warm even with the window open and a fan on. That was tolerable in late May or early June, though probably uncomfortable in hotter summer weather. We could hear people passing the room in the morning and the toilet flushing and pipes running upstairs. I imagine that's related to the age of the building, as many Brighton houses are like that, and not unique to this place. It's on a quiet side street, and we had no trouble with outside noise. The seafront and main Brighton attractions are just down the road. We didn't pay for breakfast since there are lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I'd happily stay again. The rooms felt roomy, and the beds were comfortable despite looking a bit cheap. Staff were really helpful, the service was great, and they responded quickly when we had complaints. Getting around was easy too, with the beach, central Brighton, malls, and coffee shops all close by. Five stars from me. For a three-star hotel, it feels underrated.

The apartments were easy to find, near the beach, and about 1.2 km from central Brighton. There was some litter outside because the private bins were overflowing, which was the one location downside. The room worked well for the night, and the service was amazingly helpful, more than we expected and much appreciated. We'd definitely use it again if we're back in the area.

The room felt neglected, with dirty carpet, cracked, swollen wallpaper that was nearly coming off, and a floor that creaked with every step. Furniture, doors, and windows were old, and the windows seemed dangerous and insecure. There isn't a lift, so you have to carry luggage, strollers, and other things up very narrow stairs. An unpleasant stay. The hotel needs refurbishment.
