BrightonBreak Apartments

We booked Portland Place through Brighton Break at fairly short notice for a week away. The website photos looked lovely and the price seemed reasonable, so I wondered on the drive down if it might be too good to be true. It wasn’t. The apartment looked as promised, was spotless, and had everything we needed. Paul and Laura were helpful from booking onwards, with clear arrival details and a message to let us know it was ready. There were two bedrooms for our family of three, and when a family member who’s a key worker stayed for one night, they kindly left extra linen for the sofa bed. The beds were so comfortable we wanted to take the pillows and duvet home! We also paid for the private parking, a two-minute walk away, which made trips to other places easy. Kemp Town has coffee shops, a Co-op and restaurants nearby, and Brighton Town is a short walk away. We’ve always stayed in hotels when visiting Brighton before Covid, but we’ll check with Paul and Laura first next time. We’ll definitely stay again. You can look straight out to the sea from the balcony, and the location is hard to beat. 10 Portland Place is beautifully put together and really comfortable. It may be the most appealing two-bedroom flat in Brighton. We absolutely loved our stay.

Brighton Break has places in some of Brighton’s best spots, from right by the sea to the middle of the city’s busy centre. I’ve stayed with them several times over the past two years and have been very impressed with both the apartments and the service. I’ll be back.

Back in the same Kemptown flat as last year, and it was just as fab. The position and facilities are spot on. Only thing I’d have liked was a few more large towels.
