We’re used to staying at posh hotels like The Landmark and The Hilton, but from now on we’ll choose The Brightonwave when we visit Brighton. We’ve already booked for May during The Fringe Festival. Richard and Simon run everything really well, with spotless rooms and reasonable prices, plus a fantastic, prizewinning breakfast. There’s a good choice of rooms, and room 8 even has a garden. All the little touches made it feel homely: a makeup remover flannel, fresh milk and fruit, pens, biscuits, books, and warmth. The other guests were delightful too, including a Swedish trio visiting for football who support Nottingham.

Breakfast was a real treat at brightonwave. Everything was delicious, and I had pancakes two mornings in a row while my husband went for the big breakfast. The owners were friendly and made the stay easy, and they gave us lovely restaurant recommendations. Our room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the hot water worked. They’d also left chocolate and hot chocolate for a nighttime snack. We’d love to come back when we’re in brighton.

The location was just right, and breakfast was a lovely extra. Each meal was cooked to order and tasted delicious. Our room suited a couple perfectly, with its own bathroom and all the facilities we needed, even ear plugs in the bedside table. We’d read all the positive reviews and were curious whether the place lived up to them. As soon as we arrived, we understood why people had such nice things to say. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

Working away from home can be tough, but the welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast made it much easier. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in.

We spent three nights here and felt at home from the moment we arrived from Taiwan. The welcome was genuinely warm, and breakfast was a highlight each morning, lovingly prepared and a delicious start to our days of exploring. The kindness made our trip memorable, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We wholeheartedly recommend the place.
