We had a comfortable, nicely sized room with everything we needed and then some. The bed was very soft, the pillows decent, and the bedding lovely. I also liked the TV concealed in the footboard. We stayed in ground-floor room 2, which felt more like a studio apartment, with a fitted kitchen. The room was in good order overall, though there was water staining on the bedroom ceiling from an obvious leak, and the shower-room handle was coming loose. Those are small points, but they were there. Instructions for self check-in arrived by email the day before and were clear, so getting in was fuss-free. The Brighton on the Beach venue is at the end of the road, and the pier is about 8-10 minutes away. We thought the space, amenities, location, and price were all decent. We used the Buzz Bingo car park on Eastern Rd, around five minutes away, at £18 for 24 hours, and it worked well. We’d definitely stay again, and probably will.

Staff were friendly and let us leave our bags on checkout day. It’s a good location, about a 20-minute walk to most bars and shops. The room was clean and comfortable, with the basics like coffee, tea, towels, and soap. We were pleased with it, and getting in and out using the entry codes and key box was easy.

The room suited us really well. Room 2 has a full kitchen, which we only used for the kettle and fridge, but it gave us more room to move and made the bedroom feel separate. The location was great, and Dania and her team helped us choose the right property and room from their seven Brighton options. They also arranged the on-street parking permits we needed, for an additional charge. We had a small maintenance problem caused by the previous guests and asked for housekeeping once. Housekeeping is on demand, so there’s no worry about someone knocking at an inconvenient time to change towels. The reception team was only a text away, or reachable by phone, and handled both things quickly. Housekeeping arrived within three minutes of my text. Everyone we dealt with, in person or by message, was friendly and professional.

The room was small, but it did the job and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy when we arrived, the heating and TV worked well, and the bed was really comfortable. I felt safe there despite the odd bedroom door lock, and I’d probably stay again. The view was nothing special, which didn’t bother me. We were there in winter, and a cold breeze came through the windows because they didn’t close with a proper seal. Check-in and checkout without a person felt a bit strange. We didn’t speak with staff during our stay, but they sent detailed instructions before we arrived.

They were great when I needed to make a last-minute change, and the instructions for getting in and out were easy to follow. The room had lots of character and a very comfortable bed, plus a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Parking at Buzz Bingo was an easy five-minute walk away. It’s well placed for Kemptown coffee shops and characterful pubs, with an easy walk along the seafront to the beach and the lanes. I’d definitely book again.
