We liked this little old-fashioned pub, though I can see it won’t be to everyone’s taste. The prices are excellent, a Guinness was £4.35, and the female bar staff were funny, friendly and welcoming. We had a few pints before heading out. It’s a small place with darts.
It’s okkkkk, nothing special. The staff were nice, but had no idea what an espresso martini was, which surprised me a bit. Simple place with basic people. Not bad, just not somewhere I’d go back to personally.
I came with my husband for an Aperol spritz, and as an Italian I thought it was really good. I was a little skeptical at first, but the girl did a great job. The price was fantastic too. If you’re in Brighton, it’s worth stopping by.
A small pub with seating for about 60, so there isn’t much room, but it has several TVs and a well-lit dartboard. Sky Sports is on, and the prices are really low: Strongbow was £3.40 in March 2023. Regulars can be a bit hit or miss, but all in all it’s a good choice for Wetherspoon-level prices, actually even cheaper since their prices jumped in early 2023.
You don’t come across proper boozers like this around Brighton anymore. The Stella was the cheapest pint around, and the staff were amazing. I didn’t catch the barman’s name, but he made sure we could watch the whole F1 final race of the season even though football was on too. Thanks, he made my weekend. I’ll definitely be back.
