Pink Pavilion Hotel

The stairs are quite narrow, so take care carrying suitcases up and down. We had keys for both the front door and our room, which meant we could come and go as we liked. The location is prime for the seafront, pier, shops, cafes and restaurants. Everything was clean, and the two ladies running the guest house were warm and welcoming. The room cleaner even folded the blankets we’d brought from home, then left us little badges and a thank-you note. Such a nice touch. The price was very reasonable for the location and amenities. We had a lovely stay, highly recommend.

The street gets very noisy, but the ear plugs in the room helped. The staff were delightful, and the room was kept very clean and topped up with tea each day. It was small, and though it was advertised as having an en-suite, there wasn’t enough space for one. Instead, the bath and sink were in the bedroom, with a separate toilet. I was alone, so it didn’t bother me much, but two people would have felt very cramped.

We felt right at home thanks to Lee, who was so warm and friendly when she met Mehmet and me on arrival for the weekend. The room was spacious and really clean, and the pier is only a two-minute walk away. If we visit Brighton again, we’d stay at this quirky, friendly hotel.

We had a really enjoyable break at this cheerful, inexpensive guesthouse. Lee, the owner, texted regular updates, explained where to park and how to get a parking permit from her. We stayed in room 6 on the second floor. It was clean and fresh, with a shower and our own toilet, and the bed was made and towels replaced each day. Whenever we ran into Lee at the guesthouse, she checked that we were OK and asked if we needed anything. Pink Pavilion is less than ten minutes from the seafront, with local bars, coffee shops and restaurants just a two-minute walk away.
