No. 124 Brighton

No.124 Guesthouse had such a warm, cosy winter feel, and the decor was stunning. Our large room overlooking the sea lived up to its breathtaking view, and the pantry, stocked with drinks and snacks whenever you wanted them, was a lovely extra. The lounge downstairs was relaxed and welcoming, with board games to play. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. There was a small mix-up with the congratulatory card, but the team made up for it with complimentary sleep body oil for my partner and me, a thoughtful, generous gesture. We’ll definitely return, and hope to try the spa next time. I’d highly recommend No.124 for a romantic getaway.

The spa may have been my favourite part of the birthday weekend. I had what I truly think was the best massage I’ve ever had, and Lisa and Charlotte were kind and made me feel completely relaxed and cared for. Every person we met was lovely, from the bartender who made my Tommy’s Margarita and shared cocktail history to the breakfast server whose fun Halloween nails brightened our morning. We also loved the help-yourself pantry, the downstairs bar, and breakfast at The Pearly Cow. Jamie and Diego at the front desk were friendly, accommodating, and great to chat with. The room’s breathtaking view had us both gasping when we walked in, and every detail was thoughtfully designed. We explored the lanes and strolled along the beach. It was a beautiful stay and a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. We can’t wait to come back or try another GuestHouse location, and already recommend it to everyone we know.

We’ll be back, and we’re looking forward to trying the other locations in Margate and York too. We stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday and had such a relaxing time. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are unbelievably comfortable, and the attentive staff make sure you have what you need. Every space feels classy. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant is well worth booking, and the waiting staff were very attentive.

Cara, the Events Coordinator, was amazing to work with and helped me organise the perfect team event. We had our company Christmas party in the Courtyard private dining room, and it was fabulous. The arrival drinks worked perfectly, and the tables looked beautiful with Christmas decorations and crackers. The food was delicious, and the team went the extra mile to meet our needs. Everyone said how good the meal was, and the serving staff were brilliant and attentive. Thank you to Cara and the whole team. For an intimate, cosy event, this is the place.
