The host gave me useful tips about the neighbourhood on my first day, but the service from another woman the next day was really bad and left me feeling as if I’d fallen into a scam. My room was filthy, with stale fruit provided, mottled paint in the wall corners and dirt everywhere. When I first walked in, I had no idea what was going on. It made for a terrible start to my first day in Brighton. I’d rather have chosen a hotel than booked this room, since I’d mistakenly thought it would be a nicer private place.

The hosts were so kind, and the place felt safe and homely. I had a lovely time and highly recommend staying here. It’s a welcome change from a bland hotel room. The location is great and a little tucked away, so nights are quieter, while it’s still easy to find your way around. I know where I’ll stay next time I’m in Brighton.

The beach and town are both very close, so it’s an ideal spot. My room was clean, comfortable and nice, and the host was really friendly and accommodating. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Breakfast was included, the toilets were clean and the rooms felt cosy. It’s inexpensive and in an incredible spot near the beach and the mall. The host and service were great. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. 10/10, would recommend.

The owner went out of their way to help us. My son and I booked at the last minute for three nights, and the location was fabulous.
