The fish was good, though I prefer it thicker and meatier. For me, the batter-to-fish ratio was a bit off. The chips were banging, just what you want from a chippy. Everything was fresh and cooked to order, decent quality.

I had high hopes because the shop and location looked lovely, but the fish was disgusting, covered in very thick, nasty batter. I threw it in the bin. They told me they only had a large, so I paid £13 for the chips too, and couldn't finish those either. Maybe it was because it was out of season. Never again.
This feels like a tired fish-and-chip shop run by stressed people. The chips were a decent portion, but pricey at £5 each, and the cod wasn't anything special. The jumbo sausage turned out to mean more batter, not more sausage. The seagulls enjoyed that bit, lol.😆😋
I enjoyed the midweek lunch deal again today. Freshly cooked fish and chips with a choice of sauce or peas is good value, and I ate mine in the sunshine on the beach. It's always nice to have a quick chat with the friendly, hard-working owner too.
Good quality fish and chips at a fair price. The staff were excellent and served everything quickly.
