Student Only iQ Brighton

My first year of uni living at iq has been amazing. The building stays clean and tidy, there are lots of facilities, and the rooms have everything you need and are 10/10. Staff are friendly, and they deal with any issues or messages straight away.

IQ made for a safe and really good stay. The building has great amenities and is well placed in Brighton, with both the city centre and universities nearby. The reception team and other workers were kind and helpful with anything I asked. Some of the common areas could use regular maintenance since so many people use them. Otherwise, I’d recommend it to students looking for somewhere warm and cosy.

As an international student, I had an awful two years in this accommodation. Staff said racist things about me and people around me. In my first year, I complained about my flatmate and wasn’t taken seriously. The second year, I got bed bugs in my room. I asked them to store my bike and they broke its lights. The bike storage was broken into twice before they fixed it after complaints about stolen bikes. The lifts were out of order for months. The management was poor, the staff lazy, and the place costs an out of this world amount. Do not recommend. Please be safe.

I’ve been here for two years at university, and it’s felt like a home away from home. The facilities are great, it’s conveniently located, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Georgia and David at reception especially make the place feel that way. They’re lovely and always go the extra mile, whether that’s sorting out maintenance requests, handling deliveries or just having a friendly chat after a long day. Their warmth and kindness have made my time here so much better. I can’t thank them enough. I’d recommend this place to students who want to be well looked after.
