We booked through Agoda in February for a September hen do and tried several times to reach the host about adding someone and checking in earlier, but got no reply. When I called the day before to confirm details, the host first said they knew nothing about the booking, then said a gas leak meant we couldn’t stay. That last-minute change, after all the communication failures, left us scrambling for another place and spending more. Avoid this property and host.
Awful company and experience. We booked in January 2023 for a hen do, then called this week to confirm and were told by the owner that our date wasn’t booked and that nothing existed. They don’t answer the phone, and when someone does, it’s a rude man who can barely be bothered to speak to you. If I hadn’t checked, ten girls could have been left in the middle of Brighton with nowhere to stay. They shouldn’t be allowed to trade on sites like agoda. Take your money elsewhere, disgusting.
I never stayed, I was looking for one night. But after it was over £1,000, it would have needed to be Molly's, the Royal Pavilion, or Buckingham Palace. Nowhere in Brighton is worth more than £200!
We booked months ahead for a stag do, and now they’ve cancelled. It’s left us in a terrible position, with hardly any accommodation options, if any. Don’t book here.
