The rump was probably the tastiest piece I’ve ever had, and Emma looked after us really attentively at the table. What a find! Parking right outside made everything easy. We’ll definitely be back.

The front desk helped me find somewhere to eat at 1am, which was really useful. My room was clean, the bed was lovely and cozy, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Very handy for Origin Workspace nearby.

The staff are the reason I’d stay here again when I’m back in Bristol. I can’t remember their names, but the woman with the spider tattoo and the blonde dude were brilliant. They were attentive, professional and friendly, with great jokes and banter, and made us feel welcome and like we belonged. They also stored our luggage and brought refreshments. I’ve had lots of different customer service experiences in the UK, and people are generally great, but the small details can get missed. That didn’t happen here. My fiance and I stayed for a few days in July 2025 and had a fantastic time. Our room had a stunning view over the park, and the location was great. It was very comfortable despite having no AC and feeling a bit muggy in the UK summer. When we asked for another fan, the staff had one waiting in the room after we’d gone out for a quick coffee. Give them a fat bonus or buy them a drink, they deserve it!

We had a lovely stay after our wedding night. The staff were lovely, the rooms cosy and beautiful, and the facilities were great. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. A couple of small drawbacks: the rooms aren’t big enough for families, and a friend’s room had a window blocked by the building’s architecture. Still, we’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, pleasant stay.

I could walk to all the places I planned to see, including M Shed, and the area felt beautiful, safe and convenient. The room amenities were superb too. It’s a cute boutique hotel in a great part of Bristol. The downside was the club noise downstairs. I stayed before Christmas, and there was very loud celebrating every night until well past midnight. Even with good earplugs, I could hear it from my room on the top, third floor.
