Leo and Alex made me feel at home at the bar on a quiet evening. We had a great chat over a cold beer and a lovely, good-value meal. Libby at reception was just as fantastic and friendly. I arrived very early, left my bag, and went to explore the city. When I came back to check in, Libby welcomed me again. My room was clean and warm, the bed and towels felt fresh, and the hot shower was awesome. The hotel's location is very convenient. Leo, Alex, and Libby made the stay really enjoyable, and I look forward to coming back. Thank you.

Our black tie, red carpet event on the 28th of February 2026 was a success. Vernetta supported us from the planning stage, paid remarkable attention to detail, anticipated what we'd need, and came up with creative ways through challenges. On the day, Leonardo helped a lot. He put together an elegant, flavourful menu, and guests were raving about the dishes. He and his team worked tirelessly to make sure every plate was just right and served on time. Melinda at reception was also really good, communicating well and responding to all our needs. Thank you, Tanya.

I contacted the hotel directly twice after my stay and got no response, which is why I'm leaving this review. I was there for work. After checking in, I showered and picked up a towel to dry my face. Just before using it, I saw human faeces on it. I was moments from wiping it on my face, and felt shocked and disgusted. This was a serious hygiene failure and a potential health risk, not a minor cleanliness problem. Towels should be freshly cleaned, and finding this in my room was horrifying. I called reception. They brought replacement towels, but there was no proper apology, escalation, or accountability. Just swapping the towel felt completely unacceptable. My employer paid for the stay, so I wasn't seeking compensation. Basic professionalism and concern should have been the minimum. I emailed twice asking to speak with management. There was no reply or acknowledgment. The rooms are dirty, poorly maintained, and not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and the lack of care after reporting an issue was even worse. Guest safety, hygiene, and customer service clearly aren't priorities here. I strongly advise people to stay elsewhere. No stay is worth risking something this revolting, so do not book under any circumstances.

The spa was a letdown. All the jacuzzis were lukewarm, one sauna barely got warm and didn't seem to be working properly, and the spa receptionist wasn't very welcoming. We had to ask for bathrobes and towels instead of being offered them. We also booked a 25-minute massage but got barely 15 minutes of actual massage. The hotel itself was great, with a lovely clean room, comfortable beds, a great breakfast, and attentive restaurant staff.
