I’ve stayed here several times for work. It’s conveniently just off the motorway, and while the rooms are basic, they’re clean and perfectly fine, with a decent shower. The little pub next door has brilliant service, really friendly staff, and a simple breakfast with good coffee.

I stop in regularly for coffee on my way to work. It’s a relaxing place to sit beforehand, and the staff are all polite. Vanessa is especially welcoming and often remembers what I’m about to order before I’ve even said it.

The staff are polite, but please bring back the continental breakfast menu at the black sheep. The breakfast bar looks empty, which doesn’t feel right for a four-star hotel.

It’s a great spot just off the motorway, and having EV charging right outside is very convenient. Being dog friendly is a bonus too. We’ll definitely stay again.

Breakfast at the absolutely awesome The Black Sheep was a real highlight and a lovely way to start the day. I stayed just one night for a business trip, and wished I could have stayed longer. The Lodge at Bristol has beautiful, stylish rooms that are extremely comfortable, plus a fantastic atmosphere throughout that feels relaxing and welcoming. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.
