Magnolia B and B

We had a comfortable, relaxing stay in this clean, tidy accommodation. It’s a small self-contained place with a kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, one single and one double, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink and complimentary toiletries. There are towels for everyone. The living area has a sofa bed, dining table and chairs, microwave, fridge with a small bottle of milk, TV, kettle, biscuits, drinks and a Guest Information folder. There’s no cooker. A door connects to the hallway, where there’s a toaster and more complimentary food and drinks. Outside the front entrance is an ashtray in a smoking and vaping area. The Owners have a dog. If you tell them about a fear or allergy before arrival, they’ll make sure you don’t meet the dog during your stay. They use the back entrance with the dog, so you can use the front entrance and hallway safely and comfortably. The only annoyance was the train passing every 20 minutes. We hadn’t been told about it, and it bothered our Daughter a little. Otherwise, it’s a quiet residential road. Many thanks to Alison for being friendly, professional, welcoming and accommodating 🙂

Alison thought of all the little details and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The service was first class from start to finish. What a little gem, I couldn’t recommend it enough and will be coming back. Thanks for a perfect stay.

We stayed here for work for the past three months, and I’ve never had anything bad to say about Magnolia B&B. The host was very clean, kind and caring. Nice pictures street. It was well worth the money, and I’d happily spend another three months there if I had to.

We stayed at Allison’s during lockdown, and she was an absolute star who made us feel very welcome. The Orchid suite was clean and spacious. We’d give her ten stars if we could.
