The staff handled a very busy weekend with a lot of patience, especially the restaurant team. We’d been warned at reception on arrival that Saturday breakfast would be busy, and advised to book an early slot. The restaurant was chaotic at our 8pm dinner booking, with children constantly running between tables while many adults ate and the kids kept moving around. The team worked hard to get food and drinks out and stayed remarkably calm. We ate quickly and went back upstairs. The noise in the corridor continued until about 10:30, then stopped, and we slept well. Our first-floor accessible room was clean, tidy, and neat. On Saturday morning, our 7am breakfast was busy but less hectic than dinner. The hot food area was clean and stocked, and we left as the crowd started to build. When we returned later, the car park was less full, though three of the ten disabled spaces had no blue badge displayed. The hotel was much quieter that evening, with nobody running around, and Sunday breakfast was just as good as expected, with a clean, well-stocked spread from cereal and toast to all the usual full English choices. We packed up and said goodbye to Bristol. We’d chosen Friday to Sunday, not knowing a lot of families would be there for some kind of dance event on Saturday. Friday was busy too, but reception gave us a very friendly welcome. The stay wasn’t really the hotel’s fault, but the crowds made Saturday quite an experience.

I stay here often, and the branch is kept in great shape. The evening team are especially patient and attentive to what customers need, even when people aren’t very polite to them. They deserve recognition for their professionalism and hard work. One request for Premier Inn: could you add an online dinner booking system? After a 13-hour day I often arrive late and then have to wait two or three hours for a table.

Racheal and Stacie made the stay that much nicer with great conversation and an extra bit of care. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a great range of food. I’m already looking forward to coming back over the next few weeks. I’d recommend staying here to anyone, and would give it more than five stars if I could. 😊

There’s good parking and an excellent restaurant right next door. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and check-in was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, though sometimes absent. It’s well placed on the outskirts of Bristol, with a metro bus from outside John Lewis that’s easy and cheap to use.
