The Gothic Mansion

We came from Miami, Florida, just the two of us, and were told we'd set a record as the smallest party to stay at the Gothic Mansion. I was there for a birthday trip and wanted somewhere spectacular where I could take photos. Over our two days, we used several of the beautiful rooms for pictures, with some of our best shots coming from the dining room. The mansion made a great place to explore Bristol from. It blends old and new nicely: the bathrooms and other practical areas are modern, while the woodwork and decorations retain its history. It was a special visit we'll remember, and the photos will bring it back. We'll return with more friends, and I'd recommend it for a memorable occasion.

There was room for our whole family to gather, eat together, and make memories during our annual get-together. The Gothic Mansion worked beautifully for a large group and felt like a home away from home, with plenty of extra character and history. It's right in the heart of Bristol, so the city's attractions are easy to reach, yet the house feels like a private retreat. Our rooms were spacious, well kept, and full of character, with a cosy feel. The old building's high ceilings, detailed woodwork, and period features made a strong impression, while the modern comforts made the stay relaxing. We'd happily return, and recommend it for a family gathering or special event.

Misha welcomed us and showed me around her amazing home when we arrived. We were a large group there for New Year, and the long dining table was perfect for our lovely dinners. The bedrooms were wonderful and the beds very comfortable. The mansion is handy for the supermarket, and while we were so happy staying in that we didn't visit any pubs, there's a good choice of pubs, restaurants and cafés nearby. Highly recommend.

We had 22 people and found plenty of bedrooms, plus a good space for spending time together. It's quirky, spacious, reasonably priced and well located. The kitchen would be easier for catering with a bit of attention, another oven and a dishwasher. A good place for a family or friends' get-together. The team were helpful while booking and when we arrived.
