Winford Manor Hotel - Bristol Airport

We arrived at 3pm and got a warm welcome at reception. Our superior twin room was on the ground floor, spacious and warm, with really comfortable beds. We also had a lovely evening meal in the bar area. The food was tasty and plentiful, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. We'd booked the hotel so my son could catch an early flight, but unfortunately he became ill and needed an ambulance to hospital before we could stay the full night. I want to thank Lotte, who called the ambulance, helped keep him safe and supported me through a difficult time. She stayed with us until the ambulance door was closed. She's a credit to the hotel. I'd definitely return for a hopefully quieter stay.

During my three-night stay in a double room, I was pleased with the customer service, peaceful surroundings, very fast free wifi, free parking and the room rates. The cleanliness and smells around the hotel were the only things I wasn't happy with. If you're after a quiet stay, those are worth weighing up. I've shared room photos and video, with the things I noticed marked in them.

The grounds are fantastic to wander around, with historical bits to spot in the gardens. Staff are welcoming and easy to talk to. The rooms are good, the bed was comfortable, and the dining was really nice with good-sized portions. Rooms are affordable too. Had a blast and would stay again.

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. I booked two rooms, both clean and with very comfortable beds, so we all got a great night's sleep. Other guests slamming doors made things a bit noisy, though that's not really the hotel's fault. I'll definitely stay again when I'm passing through.
