The coast paths are easy to reach from the back of the site, and we had a great time here. Our accommodation was a good size and reasonably equipped as a base. The park is family friendly, with lots of fun for kids, a fairly good entertainment programme and a well-stocked bar, though the evening options are limited and very geared towards families. There's a bus into town from right outside, but the last one is at 18:15, so it's not ideal for nightlife. Walking to the town centre is quite a trek.

The kids loved the play parks and the entertainment team really put effort into keeping them happy. We also got an early check-in, and for a cheap break that part was fine. But the caravan smelled of dogs from the minute we arrived, all week, despite this not being a pet-friendly place. There were ants everywhere, the freezer was tiny for six people, and the cooker took ages because it barely got hot. The caravan wasn't very clean either. We kept booking swimming online and then got turned away each time, which was really disappointing. The park as a whole feels run down, so I probably wouldn't come back.

The chalet was filthy, with dust, dirt, cobwebs and mouse droppings, and it smelled strongly of dogs. Those were only some of the problems. I tried getting in touch with John fowler to complain, but never got a response.

Brixham is a lovely little fishing town, about 15 minutes away by bus. We had a great weekend here, just me and my two children. They really enjoyed the entertainment, and there was also a nice pool, a little play area and some small crazy golf.

The caravan was immaculate, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with the shower, but it was sorted within two hours. It was our first caravan holiday in years, and we booked so our pup could socialise. It worked out great for that, with the site being very dog friendly both indoors and out. ‘Stripey MATT’ was fantastic with the entertainment and kept my 9yo boy, and us adults, amused. We'd definitely like to return.
