Morar Hotel

We left full of delicious food and feeling very well looked after. Akram was especially hospitable, and kindly agreed to a couple of cheeky requests, including a doggy bag. The receptionist was also very helpful and had great interpersonal skills. Staff throughout were polite, professional, attentive, and cheerful. The building is impressive, and our room was spacious, warm, and cosy. I loved the automatic bathroom light. Hotel Morar welcomes dogs and is well placed for walking, taking a train, or simply relaxing. It suited us perfectly.

Our sea view was spectacular, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel was lovely, and the meals were delicious. I’d recommend the scallops and ribeye steak. Even with some wet weather, we enjoyed beautiful walks along silver sands beach. Many thanks for a relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back.

Akram was a lovely host, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room had been upgraded at check-in. My friend and I were only staying briefly on the way to the isle of skye, but we slept well in the very comfortable beds and made good use of the tea and coffee provided.

I’ve stayed at the Morar Hotel twice and can’t wait to go back, so the mixed reviews surprise me. The views over Morar Bay are unbeatable, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There are countless beaches to visit nearby. I also highly recommend the Silver Sands Restaurant on the first floor. They served the best meals I’ve had in Scotland, hands down.
