Set in peaceful countryside, Afon Gwyn Country House has lovely gardens and a calm atmosphere. The hosts offered useful suggestions for local sights and walks, and went out of their way to make sure things were right for us. Our room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with little details that made the stay feel special. Breakfast was freshly made, delicious, and had plenty of choices. It's a lovely place to unwind, explore Wales, or have a romantic countryside break. We'd happily recommend it.

Gareth and Rana made us feel very welcome, and their advice was terrific. Gareth pointed us to a stunning hike we wouldn't have found on our own. Breakfast had plenty of good choices, especially the homemade yogurt bar and Belgian waffles. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and immaculately clean, and the location is a great base for exploring Snowdonia. We'll be back next time.

We really enjoyed our two nights here. The room was clean and spacious, and Gareth and Rana were wonderful hosts. Thanks to Gareth for the sightseeing tips and Rana for the excellent cooking. We'd stay again.

We looked forward to breakfast, coming back each day, and spending time with Gareth and Rana. They were always cheerful, warm, and helpful, and cared for us so well that we felt at home and were fed like family. The rooms were spacious and clean, everything worked perfectly, and the sun room where breakfast was served was beautiful. The food was hearty and tasty. Trusted friends from Singapore recommended Afon Gwyn to us, and we'll gladly pass the recommendation on.

We spent three nights at Afon Gwyn in the first week of June, staying in the Alice Suite. It was very luxurious and had loads of space. Rana and Gareth were friendly, knew the area well, and were happy to help with anything. Breakfast was cooked to order, with lots of different choices, and was excellent. No surprise they keep getting five star reviews.
