The breakfast was good, and it was an easy walk into Betwys-y-coed for its shops and restaurants. We stayed at Llety Betws in July because we wanted to be near Mount Snowdon for our climb. Ghislaine was a lovely host, and Gladys the cat was a sweetheart. The rooms were comfortable, and we’d happily recommend staying here.

Bettws Y Coed is beautiful and made a great base for exploring North Wales. We loved our stay, and hope to come back soon. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the setting was stunning. Julie was so friendly at breakfast, which was made with good ingredients and cooked beautifully by her on our last morning.

We were visiting from Dubai and arrived very early, but the owners kindly let us check in ahead of time. Our room had enough space and a small en suite, so we didn’t have to share a bathroom. As vegetarians, we were pleased to find a breakfast option for us, and it was cooked beautifully. John kept us company with some nice banter at breakfast, while Melanie gave us a very warm welcome. We had a really nice night and appreciated the lovely energy from them both. The location was great, and we may make this a yearly or seasonal trip. I’d fully recommend it to anybody. They sorted out our pick-ups and drop-offs, and even booked dinner reservations for us. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and the rooms were amazing with such friendly hosts. I can’t fault the place and would recommend it to anyone. The friendly house cat was a bonus. 10/10, I’d pet the cat again!

We felt completely at ease, almost like we were staying with family, and would definitely come back. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, and the owners were informative. Breakfast was great, and I nearly forgot to mention the awesome view from our room. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you 😍
