It was so quiet and pleasant at Maes Madog Farm Cottage, just right for unwinding. The cottage was well cared for, clean, comfortable, and really cozy. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and loved our time there. I’d happily return.

Evenings were peaceful here, and town was close enough when we wanted to go out. Our cottage was clean and well furnished, with a warm room and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. A great spot for a quiet getaway.

The tranquil setting and all the facilities made for a lovely family holiday. We had a cottage, hot tub, pool table, and outdoor kitchen, and wanted for nothing. Jane was welcoming and got back to me whenever I had a query. We had a dream of a week and would definitely recommend coming here and returning. Well done, Jane, and thank you 😊

The location was fantastic, peaceful countryside with sheep and cows in the nearby fields, but only a five-minute drive to the village. The route is a country road, though there are plenty of verges for letting other cars pass, and the car park has space for everyone. We arrived late, so it was helpful that the door had been left open for us. There was a much-appreciated welcome gift of prosecco, chocolates, and Welsh cakes. Inside, the couch was comfortable and the TV had Netflix as well as live channels. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking, with tea and coffee provided, though we bought our own sugar. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well each night. There’s a lot of light through the bedroom window, but the blackout blind works really well. Shower pressure was OK. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel. The towels were on the small side, but we were glad they were supplied. A couple of small fixes came up: the table wobbled, so we wedged something under a leg, and the latch on the split front door came loose a few times, though it was easy to put back. The bathroom would be difficult for anyone who struggles with stairs. Apart from that, it was brilliant.

Maggie was lovely, and we’d highly recommend this cottage. It had a great rural feel and was perfect for my partner and me. The heating was powerful, the bed very comfortable, and Betws y coed was just a short drive away.
