Lazy Days B&B

Jo was a charming host and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the large top-floor room, which was meticulously clean and had brand-new decor finished to a very high standard. The attention to detail really shows. It's on a quiet road between the station and the ocean. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of on-street parking. It's centrally placed for the beach, cafes, bars and restaurants. Our room was large and airy, with a big comfortable bed, and the home was immaculately clean and well presented. Breakfast wasn't being served because of social distancing restrictions in the dining room. It would've been nice to have a continental option guests could eat in their rooms.

The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to handle special requests. Breakfast in the hamper was superb, and the room had been recently renovated to a very high standard. The whole property is tastefully decorated. I think this B&B beats many hotel chains. We'd definitely come back, and next time I'd book the loft bedroom.

We came back for another short stay and this time had a room with an extra room containing a couch and TV. The service was just as excellent. On our first visit, we spent two days and nights here, just the tonic we needed for a break. The B&B is on a quiet road about 300yds from the beach, with plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. We had a smart double room with tea and coffee facilities, and breakfast came in a hamper chosen from a room menu.
