The room was huge, with high ceilings, and the location was lovely and quiet. We stayed for one night with my partner on our way home from Llandudno. From arrival, the staff gave us impeccable service and made sure we were well looked after. Breakfast was fabulous. I had poached eggs with smoked salmon and toast, which was heavenly.

We paid thousands for what should have been the most special day of our lives, but left feeling embarrassed, distressed and completely let down. Our wedding was ruined, and after we made a detailed formal complaint, the venue has consistently ignored us. Adam was fantastic while we were planning, but since then has been unresponsive and unhelpful about the serious problems. Things started going wrong the day before. Agreed arrangements weren't ready, and the coordinator seemed disorganised and unsure. When I raised accessibility needs related to my disabilities, they were dismissed and handled inappropriately. On the day itself, there was little coordination: the coordinator was absent for long stretches, leaving us, our family and suppliers to manage the wedding. There were no timelines, guidance or leadership. Guests weren't signed in, creating serious safety concerns. The bridal party had to change rooms mid-preparation. The ceremony had no one directing entrances or key moments. At the reception, table layouts were wrong, drinks were confusing, guests weren't offered the agreed drink choices, and food and drinks were taken away before people had finished. Several things we'd paid for weren't provided. The venue's condition was also unacceptable. Some rooms were dirty, with visible dust and debris and maintenance problems including leaking toilets. Some rooms were far too cold and others too hot. We had also paid for extended bar hours and a private bar for overnight guests, but the bar closed earlier than agreed and the private bar was locked, so guests couldn't use the service we'd paid for. We feel other couples should strongly avoid booking here.

Tyler was awesome, really welcoming and helpful, and the building itself is very cool. We had a great stay in a warm, spacious room. Breakfast was probably the best hotel meal I've ever had. I had kippers, which I don't think I've ever seen on a menu before.

Everyone had a great day at my daughter's wedding at Grafton Manor, and breakfast the next morning was just as good. The building and grounds were impressive, the food was excellent, and all the staff were first class. It's a fantastic, well-run venue that I'd highly recommend.

As a wedding photographer, I love how Grafton Manor works for celebrations of different sizes. It suits an intimate day just as easily as a larger wedding, and keeps its character either way. Couples looking for a relaxed, romantic Worcestershire venue with a sense of history will find it a joy to photograph. The setting near Bromsgrove is lovely, with rolling countryside, hidden gardens and Tudor architecture. There are special corners all around, and the manor's warm tones, natural light and outdoor spaces make a beautiful backdrop in any season. It feels grand while still being intimate. The staff are a real strength: calm, friendly and attentive. When things run smoothly behind the scenes, couples can relax, enjoy the day and show their personalities in the photos. The food is consistently exceptional too, with carefully put-together menus, beautifully presented dishes and flavours guests rave about. It all fits the venue's welcoming feel, whether it's a wedding breakfast or an evening celebration. Dawn & Carl x
