There are a few nice pubs nearby, and the prom looking across to Liverpool is close too. Public transport into the city was easy to use. We stayed in 'The Loft' for a lovely weekend, and the room was spotless and full of character. It felt cosy and practical, with a sink, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, and bread, cereal, and milk tucked in the corner cupboard. The spacious, modern private bathroom was just across the hall. Check-in was simple thanks to the instructions about the lockbox. We'll definitely come back!

Our room had a lovely balcony with patio furniture and views towards the Mersey, a great spot for breakfast or an evening drink. We also appreciated having our own fridge, toaster, and microwave for the continental breakfast. It's a great place to stay in a very peaceful neighbourhood.

This was our third stay at the house, and we'll come again. The penthouse was beautiful and had everything we needed and more, with a view from the balcony we loved. Freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived was a lovely treat. We stayed a week, and after I messaged to request fresh towels midweek, they arrived within minutes. Amazing service. Thanks to Charlie and the team for a wonderful week.

I wouldn't choose to stay here again. For what we paid, some basics were missing: it was noisy, uncomfortable, and not clean enough. The mould also made me feel quite sick.

We've stayed here before and plan to return. Homemade bread was waiting for us when we arrived, and parking on the road was easy and free. Liverpool was easy to reach by car or public transport, with a couple of lovely pubs serving food less than a five-minute walk away. A lovely place for the price.
