The house was lovely, but I was disappointed that the extra £40 waiver won't be returned even though we left everything spotless. They say it's held in case minor damage “may occur” and that it gives guests “peace of mind”. It brought thought police to mind. We were meant to be met at 15.00. At 15.10, in freezing rain, I called to ask if they were on their way and was told five minutes. After another 15 minutes I called again. They said they'd sent a message explaining the door was left open, and it came through while we were on the phone. I wish they'd called me at 15.00 instead.

I spent nearly two weeks here and was very happy with my stay. The apartment is spacious, with good quality furnishings, comfortable bedding, and good cooking facilities, including a washing machine. The owner was friendly and communicative. I'd thoroughly recommend it if you're staying in the area. Thanks, Graham Smith

The park across the road is great if you're travelling with children, and the apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed, plus more. We had a really lovely stay. The hostess was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The host was amazing, keeping us updated and sharing all the key information. It's a really wonderful two bedroom apartment, with a car park, fully functional kitchen and living space, and lots of facilities to make a stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed twice now, and the apartment didn't disappoint on either visit. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were warm and very comfy, and free WiFi was a bonus. There was milk in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. The owner was flexible about check in, and since I wasn't there for it, she called that evening to check in and make sure we'd arrived safely. We'd mentioned on our first stay that a set of keys for each couple might be useful, and she took care of it. Without a doubt, we'll book with her again next time we're in Liverpool.
