Premier Inn Bromsgrove Central

The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. They were clean and tidy, with modern decor, plugs, a TV, and bathroom. Breakfast was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the family was happy. One question, which seems to come up everywhere: why do they always keep the circus elephants above your room? I suppose there’s nothing they can do, but it does take the shine off an otherwise super venue.

The rooms are lovely, clean, and nicely designed, and breakfast was great. Dinner, though, wouldn’t be my choice. Service was slow, and the food was just okay. The rice seemed microwaved, and the pizza was like a 99p frozen one from Aldi. There’s a lot of white noise in this hotel. You can hear the extractor fans in neighboring rooms, and when two are on, they seem to harmonise. It’s like sleeping beside your grandma’s fridge, except the fridge is in the walls.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff there were brilliant. The location was great and the room was lovely, but a few things were missing or didn’t work. There was no bin in the room, and the TV remote still didn’t work after I asked for replacement batteries. I’m hard of hearing and need subtitles. They also promised to bring extra pillows, but they never arrived.

The vanity station was a nice touch, and it was well lit. The area greets you with Union Jack and St George's flags, and the best thing about the location is having a David lioyd next door. It’s not picturesque, and this is one of the more basic Premier Inn's.
