The man who served me was really kind and helpful, and my dad and I had a lovely time. We came for the first time on Saturday and loved this pub. There’s a fantastic beer selection, and my pint of MORETTI was amazing. Highly recommend it, the best pub in Bromsgrove Town.

We had a brilliant night for a 50th birthday party. The hosts were great, the atmosphere was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. There was a big buffet too.

We stopped by after a dog walk through Sanders Park and had a lunchtime pint at Ye Olde Black Cross. It’s become my favourite part of the walk. The pub welcomes well behaved dogs with well behaved people, and the beer garden is a lovely sun trap. It’s a brilliant old country pub right in town, with good beer and a friendly welcome. There’s a pool table in a separate area, and the comfortable lounge is easy to reach by wheelchair through the garden and up the ramp. UPDATE 😁😁 There’s new management, and they’re determined to make a mark. Great beer, good prices, wonderful food and a great atmosphere.

We had our wedding reception at the black cross on 11th October and were given the whole front bar. The staff were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They helped make our special day perfect.

Definitely worth stopping in, whether you’re into history or just after a beer and some chow. The staff and owners were friendly and made us feel welcome. The force is strong with this pub. Thanks, guys, for the warm welcome.
