It’s a peaceful, out-of-the-way spot in Wales, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. The hideaway was a little tricky to find, but once there it had everything we needed as a couple: a very comfy bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a shower with hot water.

I was really happy with my stay, especially for the low price. The campsite is tiny and quiet, with no light pollution, no toilets and no major roads particularly close by. It’s in Snowdonia.

We arrived during the heaviest snowfall in ten years, and the hosts were a huge help. The snow made the already striking scenery even more beautiful. It’s a lovely spot, just a little off the main route, so the drive is worth it. Diolch yn fawr for having us.

The hideaway is a lovely little place, with just-right facilities and a really comfortable bed. The owner was lovely too. We’ll definitely come back 😊

The site was still marked as ‘coming soon’ when we stayed for two nights, but it already impressed us. We woke up to a spectacular view, and the pitches were spacious, with car access right beside them. It has the basics for off-grid camping, and it’s a great option for hiking the local mountains, exploring the national park or just enjoying a quiet time outdoors. The owner was genuine and had useful local suggestions. I’m excited to see what else gets added as the site is completed.
