Yare View Holiday Cottages

The marina views from the front of the cottages were beautiful, and some very cute ducks often came to visit. The location suited us perfectly, with plenty of parking and Brundall Gardens train station just a five minute walk away. Trains to Norwich ran hourly. We had everything we needed in Nightingale cottage, and the office was staffed 9 to 5 every weekday in case we needed anything. The hot tub was easily big enough for the four of us, and would definitely fit six as its stated capacity suggests. The enclosed garden areas were lovely, with lighting at night. A wonderful stay at Yare View, and we’d happily come back!

We stayed in Nightingale for 5 nights but had to leave early because of family issues. It was a lovely place, with great views and a beautiful hot tub. All the staff gave great, friendly service. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The little welcome bundle was such a nice touch, with wine, crisps and the usual washing-up and laundry supplies. We stayed in Cuckoo, a one-bedroom cottage with the lounge, dining area and kitchen downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It sits in a small row of cottages beside the River Yare, looking out over the water. There’s a fully private hot tub at the back, which was a real bonus. We had a lovely time and will probably come back.

Our toddler loved seeing the ducks turn up each morning, and we were lucky enough to have good weather too. We’d booked Nightingale cottage at Yare View for my partner’s birthday, and it was just right for us. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. Inside, it was spotless and cosy, and we made plenty of use of the hot tub. We’d definitely stay again.
