The kids were so taken with the place that they asked if we could buy it and stay while we went to work. That says a lot about how welcome we felt. The house has lovely views, thoughtful decor, and everything we needed, from a hair dryer and beach towels to umbrellas, a sound system, and board and electronic games. After our nine-hour journey, the welcome pack was a real help, with breakfast and snacks ready so we didn't have to go searching. We especially loved the hot tub. There are plenty of walking trails and beaches nearby, and we could choose between a quiet break and spending time with others. The neighbours were wonderfully helpful, and the lovely dog next door was a bonus. We came as a family and the children enjoyed every minute.

Willie and Alison were wonderful hosts. When the snow was at its heaviest, they called to check whether we needed anything. It didn't spoil our relaxing week, even though it cut short some sightseeing and family visits. The cottage itself was amazing, and the village was lovely, with friendly people everywhere we met. We loved the hot tub and every part of the stay. The welcome basket was especially generous, packed with far more delicious food than we'd usually expect. It's the best self-catering cottage we've stayed in, and absolutely deserves five stars. We'll definitely book again. Thanks so much.

The welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch, and the children loved the cottage so much they said they wanted to live here. We had a really enjoyable stay and would love to return. It has everything you need to feel at home, including a fabulous coffee machine and a perfect hot tub. Thank you, Wullie & Alison.
