A pretty, friendly place in beautiful surroundings. There’s a wonderful, uncrowded beach and a nature reserve just a stone’s throw away, plus a sailing school and three marvellous venues a short walk from here.

The location is great, just about 50 metres from the beach, and you can see the sea wall from the front of the cottage. There’s also a lively nature reserve only metres away. I stayed for one night with my partner’s father, who was there for longer, and found it pleasant. The neighbourhood was very friendly, kind and welcoming, and invited my partner’s father to BBQ'S. My only concern was the drop just outside the ground-floor bathroom door, so take care of the step down when leaving.

It’s a beautiful place to stay, with lovely scenery, and it’s dog friendly. Everything was truly lovely, so I hate to say anything negative, but the single-bed mattresses are very thin.

We spent four days at number 12 Seaview cottage in Seaview isle of Wight and slept brilliantly every night. The place was very clean and comfortable, and the beds were fantastically soft. It’s 100 yards from the beach, with great walks along the seafront where you can watch the many large cruise ships and cargo carriers. We’ll definitely return. Special thanks to Roger for making booking and arranging the ferry crossing so easy. He was very helpful. Thank you for everything, Roger.

A lovely, quiet spot backing onto a nature reserve, with the beach just a two-minute walk away. Just perfect.
