David and Lorraine, the two owners, are lovely and made us feel right at home. We loved our two nights here. The bar downstairs is also where locals hang out, so it’s easy to meet residents and get a sense of life in the town. It’s about a three minute walk to the shore, with lots to explore along the coastline. The fish and chip shop next door is world class. A great base for enjoying the Highlands.

A great place to get that seaside village feel, with plenty of cliff walks nearby. The room was spacious, the facilities very good, and breakfast excellent. Great hosts too.

The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and there’s a stunning range of whiskey for sale alongside a good beer selection. It’s a fantastic dog friendly hotel and bar. I’d definitely recommend visiting.

We came across this hidden treasure by chance, and it went well beyond what we expected. The owner was kind and welcoming. It’s a quiet, cosy, unpretentious hotel, just two steps from breathtaking cliff walks. We’d love to come back.

A beautiful village by the sea, with terrific staff, a good bar and nice home cooked food. We had a great stay, and the seafront and Bowfiddle rock are amazing. The walk along to Cullen is beautiful too.
