Jack was especially friendly and helpful, even with the place incredibly busy. He's worth his weight in gold. All the staff were fantastic, and the welcome was lovely. My superior room had a great shower, and there were excellent food choices. This place is a real find, and I'll definitely be back.

Good value and DELICIOUS food. I had fish and chips, and my missus chose chickpea curry. We were both delighted. It's a locals' pub that welcomes visitors too, with a couple of well-kept real ales and one guest ale on rotation.

I stayed for two nights while walking sections of the Coast Path. The room was just what I needed, spotless, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. I had dinner at the pub both evenings, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was generous too. I didn't have a full English, but the bacon and scrambled eggs were spot on. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. A great stay.

This was our second three day break at the Brendon Arms, and we'll stay again on future trips to Bude. It's a charming pub, with spacious, clean rooms and excellent food. My one small gripe is that there's nowhere to put soap or gel in the shower.

We made a last-minute choice to eat here after the place across the road wouldn't allow dogs. Glad we did: the food was enjoyable, the staff friendly, and it had a proper locals' pub feel while still making tourists welcome. We got some good recommendations from people there, and the kids' fish and chips was just the right size for lunch.
