I booked the cheapest option, a comfort caravan, in the middle of winter and was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped it was. It was lovely and warm when we arrived, and Helen and Maddy had done an excellent job cleaning and preparing it. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the heating was great on those cold, damp winter days. The clubhouse opens for a few evenings over the weekend, which is welcome, as lots of sites don’t bother during winter. I had a great stay and would recommend it.

Sandymouth 6 is a luxury caravan for four, and it was spotless, cosy and had everything we needed. We had such a comfortable stay and really didn’t want to go home. The park was quiet and clean, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We didn’t use the other facilities, so can’t comment on those. It’s a short walk to Bude one way and Northcott mouth the other, which was perfect for the dogs. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

The caravan was clean, and much better than others I’ve stayed in before, so I was satisfied overall and would recommend it. The site feels safe and well secured, and it’s in a great spot near the beach. We were given good directions before arrival, including a way via Sainsbury’s to avoid the bumpy road. The outdoor pool is due to open soon. Just remember to bring or buy basics like towels and soap.

The caravan was clean and lovely, and the food was nice, though expensive. There wasn’t much else to do there, but it’s a great base, just a short drive from town and the beach. The park staff communicated well. Sat nav kept sending us along a really bad road, even though there’s a much safer route.

We booked in January for seven nights starting on 11 April. The staff were so friendly and always happy to help, especially katie and james. Our lodge was absolutely five-star, clean and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back.
