Easy access to stunning beaches, peaceful surroundings and dark skies for star gazing. We even had rabbits and owls as welcome guests. The house was amazing, inside and out, welcoming and homely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I honestly can’t praise it enough.

The gardens were amazing, and our lurcher loved trying to chase the rabbits across the lawn, though they were too wise to let him get near! There are beautiful beaches nearby, plus fantastic restaurants and great regional shops. This was the best cottage I’ve taken my family to. The old farmhouse style kitchen and all the nooks and crannies made the house fun to explore, and it was beautifully decorated and furnished. Some of the furniture could perhaps do with an upgrade, though it was still acceptable. The one downside we all noticed was how grumpy the locals were. They really need to take a chill pill and remember who puts money in their pockets!
