Great WiFi and high quality fittings, though perhaps the hob could be better. It’s very quiet if you don’t count the cockerels! There’s space for a large family to spread out, and adding chairs in the bedrooms would give people more places to lounge. Don’t turn left outside unless you’re in a powerful car! One of our best family holidays, with plenty nearby for eight adults to enjoy.

The barn was a great place to stay, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We were very well looked after.

Penbarden Barn was comfortable and cozy when the weather turned poor, and the fast WiFi kept us connected. It was really well equipped, which came in handy on a couple of rainy days. The building is lovely, with great sea views and an easy walk to the Coast Path. Dizzard is close to the A39 but tucked away among farmland, down a narrow single track road with very little traffic. Beyond the house towards Widemouth/Millook, that road gets narrow, steep and twisty, so it’s better to travel via the Wainhouse Corner/Crackington end. Crackington Haven is a five minute drive, where we had a lovely meal at the Coombe Barton pub and nice coffee at the Cabin. Bude is about 15 minutes the other way. It’s also well placed for trips to Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel and further afield on sunny days. Penbarden Barn exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely look to stay again.

We loved the space, and the place was comfortable, well equipped and prepared with Covid19 proofing. There were no heating or electricity surcharges. The high speed fibre internet made it easy to get online, make reservations and stream Netflix. It’s a great base for walking and touring.

Loved this hidden treasure. It’s roomy, cozy and comfortable, with plenty of space for a tribe. Very well appointed, and although it’s tucked away, it makes beautiful Cornwall accessible.
